Since he left the U.S. Naval Submarine Service in 2008, David has worked with successful companies from startup to thriving on-going ventures including defense contractors, and government agencies. His experience spans hardware and software development to project management. Additionally, he has been involved in the FIRST Robotics Competition for over 17 years.
Eric T. Shuss
Eric has over 25 years of senior business management experience in technology, running high-tech companies. He has owned and managed successful companies from startup to ongoing ventures including IT/ERP sales, consulting firms, high-tech manufacturers, retail operations and distributors.
Doug has been a C-level executive in startups and a public company. He has 30 years’ management, sales, business development and marketing skills across industries including storage systems, supply chain and management consulting.
Since serving in the U.S. Army as a reconnaissance sniper, Garrett has completed research jointly supported by NASA and the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab during his time at the University of Connecticut, where he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Before moving into the engineering field, he completed a business finance at the University of Connecticut and worked as a Federal Risk Analyst at the FDIC.
Garrett also studied at the Parsons School of Design before serving in the Army. He has hiked the Appalachian Trail and is currently pursuing a PhD at Stanford in conjunction with his work at 4th Law.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Chicago, where he also studied Computer Science and Neuroscience. He has an interest in developing a rigorous Theory of Mind, pursuing the study of Artificial General Intelligence in his spare time, with a special focus on embodied cognitive systems, staying educated in topics such as information theory, self-organization, neural-network architectures, epistemology, and mathematics (particularly abstract algebra and fuzzy logic).
